Get your bat wings up, because twenty years after the group’s groundbreaking debut, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), RZA, GZA, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Masta Killa and Method Man are back with a new album. After stellar sets at Coachella, the band has just released a new track called “Execution in Autumn”.
While details about the reportedly forthcoming album are scarce, in an interview with Radio.com, Method Man said, “We’re definitely concentrating on more positivity and teachings and trying to put that back into the original recipe for this next Wu-Tang album.” RZA told the New York Times that the group has one last mission: “We need to, one time, completely, efficiently, properly represent our brand.” Fans of the Wu Tang are eager for any output from the band. Their last studio album, 8 Diagrams, was released in 2007. following a six-year gap after their 2001 LP Iron Flag.
