Stars of Jupiter Ascending Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis speak onstage during the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards
The writer/director sibling pair of Andy Wachowski and Lana Wachowski — the creators of The Matrix — are releasing their next sci-fi saga, Jupiter Ascending, this year. The plot is sort of a futuristic Snow White, in which a genetically engineered hunter is sent to track down a woman but ends up becoming her protector instead. We know that Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis are starring in it (as the Oscars announcer informed us when they appeared to present) and that Lana Wachowski has called it a “sci-fi space opera.”
