Tina Fey as Liz Lemon
Tina Fey’s new show, Tooken, will appear on NBC this year starring The Office‘s Ellie Kemper (Erin). NBC has already ordered 13 episodes straight to series. The single camera comedy will follow a woman who has escaped from a doomsday cult and is trying to start her life over in New York City.
Fey and her fellow 30 Rock writers, Matt Hubbard and Robert Carlock, also sold a comedy about a women’s college opening its doors to men for the first time to Fox in 2013. Expect to see this untitled project on the air this year as well.
