THE DINER: Mr. Creosote (Terry Jones), the magnificently obese patron of a fancy French restaurant
THE SETTING: Entering the eatery, Mr. Creosote is greeted by a wonderfully solicitous maitre d’ (John Cleese) who directs his staff to be ready with some buckets.
THE MEAL: A staggering number of courses—interrupted by frequent bouts of explosive regurgitation. A bit of dessert—“single wafer-thin mint”—leads to the scene’s explosive climax.
NAUSEA LEVEL (ON A SCALE OF 1 to 10): [ 8 ] A bit of high-wire comedy, executed with great verve and skill. We especially like how the vomit is expelled with force of a high-pressure fire hose.
