IN WHICH OUR INTREPID HERO MUST…
Ring the Bells of Awakening and choose his (or her) ultimate destiny as an Undead warrior
WHAT MAKES IT GREAT:
This is not a game for the impatient or impulsive. In fact, Dark Souls has attained some level of notoriety for its steep and unforgiving learning curve. Expect to “die” many, many times before you finally defeat an opponent or solve a puzzle in this dark and creepy underworld. An analytical mind and the ability to think a few moves ahead are desirable skills, and playing co-operatively online has its obvious rewards. “Bonfires” function as respawn- and recovery-points, but are seemingly placed hundreds of long miles apart — many broken and discouraged souls have completely given up on the game before even making it to the first one.
