Spunky little Pawnee, Ind., might not be the number-one employment destination in the world, but it has one big thing going for it. Or, actually in the case of one particular park, one small thing, the smallest park in the whole state. Sure, it can be stressful working in an office that is constantly under the gun budget-wise, but that’s the case most everywhere these days—and if you just think of the treat of dissolution as a motivating factor, it makes the work much more fulfilling. Plus, with Knope moving on up in the world of Pawnee government, things may well be looking up for the Parks Department. Who ever said bureaucracy wasn’t fun?
