THE INTEL: With fewer roles coming his way, Weller, who enjoyed several years of Hollywood success in the late ’80s and early ’90s, decided he should take this free time to learn a thing or two. He took several classes at Syracuse University’s program in Florence, Italy, and discovered a passion for history. Weller entered a doctoral program at UCLA, and should soon earn a Ph.D. in art history, specializing in the Italian Renaissance.
