It looks like Daniel Craig, the man famous for playing the spy to beat all spies, may have been outfoxed—this time not by Le Chiffre or Dr. No, but by a British tabloid.

A former reporter for the now-defunct News of the World said in testimony Tuesday he intercepted the James Bond star’s voicemail and replayed a message from Craig’s phone for his boss and former editor, Andy Coulson. The message was allegedly left by the actress Sienna Miller, with whom Craig reportedly had an affair while she was dating actor Jude Law. The tabloid reporter claimed Miller told the James Bond star, “I love you.”

Reporter Dan Evans’ testimony is part of a trial for the long-running phone-hacking scandal allegedly perpetrated by News Corp executives, who have pleaded not guilty to a variety of charges related to questionable activities in pursuit of hot stories, like hacking phones and bribing police.

Law discovered in court Monday that an immediate family member had sold information about his private life to the British tabloid. He also admitted confronting Craig about his relationship with Miller.
