Everett8: Mick Jagger has been busy with the Stones for 50 years now, but he has also found time to do some acting, appearing in eight feature films over the years.
All of Jagger’s screen-related awards (including a Golden Globe) are for music, but he doesn’t just appear on soundtracks. His first role was in 1970’s Ned Kelly, in which he played the leading role of the famed Australian horse thief (as shown here), and most recently he appeared in a cameo role in 2008’s The Bank Job, playing a bank employee. Of course, that’s not counting the time’s he has appeared as himself: the Rolling Stones have made some of rock history’s most famous concert films and documentaries, such as Ladies and Gentlemen…The Rolling Stones, about their 1972 tour, and Gimme Shelter, which includes the infamous Altamont concert.
