Carl Weathers in Action Jackson
The only major Predator star not to become governor (see Jesse Ventura, Arnold Schwarzenegger), the man formerly known as Apollo Creed was coming off the film Action Jackson when he hosted SNL. Jackson, unfortunately, turned out to be Carl Weathers’ last major film role. This appearance may have had something to do with it.
