When C.S. Lewis first wrote The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe he reportedly had no plans to draft a sequel. Thankfully for book stores and box offices worldwide, he did. The author went on to pen six additional books in The Chronicles of Narnia series, three of which that have been made into movies that, all told, grossed more than $1.5 billion worldwide. With ticket sales that high, Aslan the lion and the Pevensie children are bound to be fighting for the good of Narnia in movie theaters for years to come.
