Though Broken Social Scene insist that they are a collective, not a supergroup, when as many as 19 (many previously famous) musicians come together, it’s hard to think of them as anything but a supersized group. Original members Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning have been joined by a plethora of notable indie musicians, including Leslie Feist, Amy Millan and Evan Cranlet (Stars) and Emily Haines (Metric), on their albums and for live shows.
