When officiating a wedding, it’s best to get the names of the bride and groom right. It’s also preferable to avoid speaking of the “Holy Goat” or “Holy Spigot” as well as uttering the words “awful wedded wife.” Of course — at least for the guests — such slipups do make for an entertaining and utterly unpredictable ceremony. Rowan Atkinson’s (Mr. Bean) nervous Father Gerald provides the amusement in this scene from Four Weddings and a Funeral, the hilarious and touching 1994 comedy starring Hugh Grant and Andie MacDowell.
