The line-up for Bonnaroo 2014 has been announced — and it features a lot of amazing acts.
Elton John has top billing, while Kanye West will also be headlining. (Regular Bonnaroo attendees might remember Kanye’s last appearance in 2008, which didn’t go well for the rapper after he showed up hours late for his set and was booed by the angry crowd.) Jack White, Lionel Ritchie, Vampire Weekend, the Avette Brothers and Phoenix are all also headlining the festival, which takes place in Manchester, Tenn. from June 12-15.
The eclectic mix of musical acts isn’t limited to the festival’s big name performances, though: a select sample of names found in the ridiculously stacked line-up includes Frank Ocean, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Skrillex, The Flaming Lips, Arctic Monkeys, Cake, Ice Cube, Cut Copy, Disclosure, Bobby Womack, Jannelle Monáe, Chvrches, Pusha T, Chance the Rapper and Danny Brown.
Perhaps even more exciting than the line-up itself, is the promise of the festival’s great Superjam sessions, where a mix of acts perform together. This year’s line-up already boasts a bluegrass Superjam with Ed Helms, as well as one with Skrillex and friends. There will also be a surprise Superjam, so start fantasizing about your dream musical duets now.
Tickets for the festival go on sale on Feb. 22, which is great — because you’ll likely need the next four months to work out a game plan in order to see all the acts you possibly can.
