Doctor Who‘s one-off anniversary episode drew more than 10 million people across 94 countries Saturday.
Marking the legendary time-traveling show’s 50th anniversary, BBC One aired “The Day of the Doctor” at the same time throughout the world, grabbing a nod from the Guinness World Record for “the world’s largest ever simulcast of a television show.”
At its peak, the show capture 10.61 million views with an average of 10.2 million viewers across the 75-minute program. The U.K. viewing numbers are expected to rise once figures are available on people who recorded the show to watch later.
