Stop everything you’re doing and clear your schedule next fall, when actor Cary Elwes plans to publish a memoir on the making of The Princess Bride.
The dapper actor who played farm boy Westley in one of the “greatest love stories” ever told will give a behind the scenes look in As You Wish: Tales From The Princess Bride, to be published fall 2014.
The book will include interviews with Robin Wright, who plays his love interest Princess Buttercup, and the rest of the characters from the cult classic including Christopher Guest, Billy Crystal and Chris Sarandon. Director Rob Reiner will contribute to the book’s forward.
