The fourth season of the British costume drama hasn’t yet hit the U.S., but Downton Abbey fans all over the world can rest easy — the series has been renewed for a fifth season.
Downton Abbey is PBS’s most highly watched show to date, and the delay between the show’s U.K. run and its U.S. run — the fourth season has already aired in Britain but won’t premiere stateside until Jan. 5. — hasn’t stalled its American ratings, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
There’s just no word on when, exactly, PBS will be sharing the season with Downton-obsessed Americans.
