Levon Helm, The Band’s legendary drummer and singer, passed away last week, and his spirit was felt during Coachella’s second weekend. Friday night headliners The Black Keys paid homage to Helm during their set. John Fogerty, of Creedence Clearwater Revival fame, joined Keys’ Patrick Carney and singer-guitarist Dan Auerbach onstage for a rendition of The Band’s 1968 classic “The Weight.” Fogerty played acoustic guitar.
