Georgia officials have confirmed that a woman has been killed after being hit by a train while working on the set of Midnight Rider, a film about famed southern rock icon Gregg Allman.
According to the AP, Wayne County authorities said the incident happened after the crew laid a mattress on top of railroad tracks in Doctortown while filming. Several crew members where also hurt during the collision. Officials have not released the identities of the injured or deceased.
