Rising rapper Doe B and a college student were killed early Saturday, after gunfire erupted at an Alabama bar and grill.

Troy University student Kimberle Johnson, 21, and 22-year-old Glenn Thomas, an up-and-coming rapper known as Doe B, died in a deadly shooting that left six wounded near Alabama State University, the Montgomery Advertiser reports. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene when gunfire broke out at about 1 a.m. Saturday, while Thomas was taken to the Baptist Medical Center South, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests in connection to the shooting were made as of mid-day Sunday and the injured patrons were in stable condition, according to Lt. Regina Duckett. Thomas had two children and third child on the way.

The incident is the second shooting in about a year at the Centennial Bar and Grill, prompting Mayor Todd Strange to immediately close the business as a threat to public safety.
