Just in time to help you wile away the hours at your parents’ house while you wait for Christmas, there’s a new trailer out for the forthcoming season of Girls.

As the show enters its third season it seems at least three of the young women are still grappling with their still-nascent careers, or in the unsurprisingly sharp words of Zosia Mamet’s Shoshanna: “It’s really amazing that all three of you have accomplished so little in the four years since college.”

However, amid the brunching, dancing and crying, it seems that not only is Hannah (Lena Dunham) really back together with Adam (Adam Driver), she is finding publishing success and getting a job, with a boss played by J. Crew fashion maven Jenna Lyons. Also guest-starring this season is The Daily Show‘s Jessica Williams, Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon, Fruitvale Station‘s Melonie Diaz, Felicity Jones, Jennifer Westfeldt, Boardwalk Empire star Michael Zegen and Orange Is The New Black’s Danielle Brooks, who plays Taystee on the Netflix series.

The new season of Girls premieres Jan. 12 on HBO.
