A couple that owns the house where Walt Disney was born plans to convert the building into a museum with the goal of “enhancing and exploring childhood creativity,” a spokesperson for the couple said in a statement.

The house, recently purchased by Dina Benadon and Brent Young in the northwest neighborhood of Hermosa, is believed to have been designed and built by Disney’s parents. He and his brother lived in the home until he was four years old.

The couple is looking to raise $500,000 and expects to start restorations next month.
