So what does the President of the United States — the leader of the free world — look forward to after leaving the White House?

Well, if you’re Barack Obama, you dream of appearing on a sports-highlight show.

The Hollywood Reporter says that, after giving a speech at the Glendale, Calif., campus of DreamWorks Animation on Nov. 26, Obama had a sit-down with top entertainment leaders, including Disney’s Robert Iger. The story quotes Obama as saying: “At least I know what I want to do when I retire … host ESPN SportsCenter’s Top 10 list.”

Iger (whose company owns ESPN), didn’t take the bait or will wait for the right time to extend the offer, choosing instead just to laugh off the suggestions with the others in the room.

In the event the then-ex-President does make it to Bristol, Connecticut, we’re thinking ESPN might want to create a SportsCenter commercial while they’re at it. Just a suggestion.
