Magician David Blaine has risen to A-list status with his daring, extravagant stunts — last year, he subjected himself to 73 hours of electric shocks on a New York City pier. Now he’s debuted a TV show featuring some of his famous friends.
On Tuesday night, the illusionist premiered his latest project, David Blaine: Real or Magic, which was — for him, at least — a low-key affair that went lighter on the stunts and heavier on the star power. Blaine wowed the likes of Harrison Ford, Robert DeNiro, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith and Katy Perry with misdirection and magic tricks.
