Maria Bartiromo

After spending 20 years at CNBC, Maria Bartiromo is leaving the network when her contract expires on Nov. 24, a CNBC spokesman confirmed Monday.
“After 20 years of groundbreaking work at CNBC, Maria Bartiromo will be leaving the company as her contract expires on November 24th,” CNBC spokesman Brian Steel told Variety in a statement via email. “ Her contributions to CNBC are too numerous to list but we thank her for all of her hard work over the years and wish her the best.”
Bartiromo became the first journalist to report live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange on a daily basis in 1995. The so-called “Money Honey” currently anchors “Closing Bell,” which airs at 3 p.m.
*Update: A source close to the matter told TIME that Bartiromo will be heading to Fox Business Network with a role on Fox News, as Drudge reported earlier.
