Temple Run
Warner Bros. is in negotiations to turn the mobile video game, Temple Run, into a movie. The story would follow an Indian Jones-esque explorer who is chased by demonic foces after he has stolen an idol from a temple.
Temple Run was released as a mobile game in 2011 by Imangi Studios. The best-selling game was so popular that it inspired a sequel earlier this year as well as knock-off versions from Disney/Pixar’s Brave and Disney’s Oz the Great and Powerful, among others.
David Heyman, who produced the Harry Potter films and Gravity, has already signed on to the project.
