The typically media-shy former President will stop by Jay Leno’s Tonight Show next week on Tuesday, Nov. 19. Former President George W. Bush hasn’t appeared on the show since his 2010 book tour.
According to a Bush spokesman, W. wanted to stop by the set before Leno retires from the NBC late-night show next year. “President Bush is going to be in the area next week, so he was happy to accept Jay Leno’s invitation to drop by the show one last time,” said spokesman Freddy Ford, according to the Hill.
