Former CNN host Larry King is returning to his roots in radio beginning on Veterans Day, hosting brief, one-minute news segments in partnership with AARP, the Associated Press reports

King, 79, can be heard daily on more than 50 nationwide stations owned by Cumulus. AARP will also air the segments and additional audio on its website.

King, a longstanding talk-show host who interviewed a range of celebrities and public figures while with CNN, left the network in 2010.
