The cast of the new Joss Whedon drama, Marvel's Agents of SHIELD
ABC is ordering a full season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the network announced Thursday. The show is ABC’s first full-season order of the season.

The pickup comes as no surprise as the Joss Whedon-produced Marvel spinoff won more than 12 million viewers during its premiere on Sept. 24, according to Variety. On average, the show is No. 1 in the Tuesday 8 p.m. slot.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. joins NBC’s The Blacklist and Fox‘s Sleepy Hollow in the lineup of lucky network shows that will air for at least a full season.
