Two episodes was all it took for the very first Fall 2013 TV show to get the axe.
ABC cancelled Lucky 7, a show about seven people from Queens, New York who win a combined $45 million in the lottery, after it plummeted from 1.3 million viewers in the first episode to just 700,000 in the second. Scandal repeats will play in the show’s 10 p.m. Tuesday slot.
Interestingly, Lucky 7 aired after Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., one of the fall’s new runaway hits.
Other new shows that are doing well include The Crazy Ones, The Blacklist, and Sleepy Hollow.
Of course, Sunday Night Football on NBC always reigns supreme.
Time to place your bets on the next new show to bite the dust.
