The long-running feud between Jimmy Kimmel and Kanye West roiled the Twitterverse on Thursday evening as the hip-hop star took umbrage at Kimmel’s latest parody.
West’s hour-long interview with BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe — during which the “Yeezus” rapper hailed himself as “the planet’s number one rock star” and took a swipe at fashion house Fendi — was the inspiration for Kimmel’s lampooning. “Does Kanye West know you’re not supposed to be your own hype man?” Kimmel asked, prompting a ten-tweet tirade from West to his 9.9 million followers.
YOU CAN’T PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES. YOUR FACE LOOKS CRAZY… IS THAT FUNNY?… OR IF I HAD A KID SAY IT WOULD IT BE FUNNY???

In response, Kimmel adopted a mocking indifference…
apparently @KanyeWest is VERY VERY ANGRY with me….

And was quick to threaten “revenge.”
I swear, @kanyewest one more of these I WILL unfollow you #warning #Goshdarnit

Some are already calling Kanye’s epic sound-off the greatest Kanye rant of all time, which is saying something. If you’re not too familiar with the full sweep of the rapper’s Twitter genius, check out this 2011 musical introduction from Josh Groban.
