Britney Spears was forced to release her new single “Work Bi##h” a day early after a low-quality leaked version of the song appeared online over the weekend, USA Today reports.
As a result of the leak, Speaks opted to release the song at 3 p.m. ET Sunday, rather than on Monday as she’d hoped. For weeks the pop icon had been building toward the release date with a countdown clock on her website. On Sunday, Spears tweeted about her disappointment at the leak, but quickly added that she has another announcement coming Tuesday on Good Morning America.
