It’s been four years since the Yeah Yeah Yeahs last put out an album, but their fourth LP, Mosquito, is coming out in April—and the New York art-punk trio are coming to SXSW to play. For fans eager to hear their new music, it seems that there’s a good chance some of the new songs will make it into the Austin set list.
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, who are known for riotous live performances, join an incredible line up on Wednesday, March 13, at NPR Music’s Showcase at Stubb’s with Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Cafe Tacvba, Alt-J, Youth Lagoon, Waxahatchee, and Le1f. It’s a hot ticket for those at the festival, but anyone with an internet connection can watch and hear all of the bands thanks to NPR Music’s live video stream.
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs has also shared a new trailer for their upcoming album, Mosquito, featuring a snippet of the song “Always”. Watch it below.
