Representative Nancy Pelosi, Democrat of California, will guest-star on the season finale of NBC’s 30 Rock, the Washington Post reports. The former House Speaker’s scripted-TV-series debut, shot in December, will air at 8:00 p.m. on Jan. 31. Ice-T and Julianne Moore will also appear in the hourlong episode, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Pelosi is expected to play herself. Apparently she is a huge fan of Fey, who plays Liz Lemon, the head writer of a sketchy comedy series loosely based on Saturday Night Live. Pelosi told the Post in a statement:

“I would do almost anything Tina Fey asks me to do. I’m flattered that they asked me to make a cameo in the series finale. I had a lot of fun.”

The House Democratic leader hit it off with Fey back in 2010 when the 30 Rock executive producer was in Washington to receive the Mark Twain Prize at the Kennedy Center, per the Post. And Alec Baldwin — who plays Jack Donaghy, Lemon’s boss, on the series — and Pelosi were seen conversing at this year’s Kennedy Center Honors event. Pelosi is no stranger to the comedy circuit; she has been interviewed by late-night hosts Jimmy Fallon, Jay Leno, David Letterman, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert.

Pelosi will be the latest politician to make a cameo on the hit NBC show, following former Vice President Al Gore, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
