And just days after the famous secret agent made a tongue-in-cheek, skydiving-with-the-Queen appearance at the Olympics Opening Ceremony in London on Friday night, the official Skyfall trailer is out.
Considering that she’s the head of MI-6, it seems like M hasn’t learned too much about digital security. She’s exposed all of the organization’s agents: as Javier Bardem’s creepy, creepy, creepy Silva says, “Mommy was very bad.” But with all the Bond bells and whistles on full display here—Q, gun barrels, train-roof running, sexy showers, witty banter—it’s probably a safe bet that M’s misstep won’t have any consequences that can’t be solved by, you know, bringing James Bond back from supposed death.
