Caricature of Charles Dickens and William Makepeace Thackeray
Bicentennial fever has crossed the pond with New York’s Morgan Library & Museum’s “Charles Dickens at 200” exhibit. On until February 12, the display features carefully chosen manuscripts, letters, books, photographs, caricatures and illustrations all selected from the largest collection of Dickens documents in the U.S. The exhibit also features lectures on and screenings of Britain’s first celebrity novelist.
