Love blossoms in a small French town after an unexplained cataclysm brings food into short supply. To make matters worse for the hero Louison (Dominique Pinon), his romantic interest’s father plans to butcher him for meat. With a little help from some veggie friends, Louison is able to avoid a fate worse than a croque monsieur.
