The characters from The Hangover aren’t so much men as bros. They are adult males in their mid-to-late 30s who have jobs, girlfriends (or wives) and daily responsibilities that should keep them from drinking themselves silly in a pathetic attempt to relive their youthful college days. That obviously doesn’t happen in this movie. (Of course it doesn’t; the word “hangover” is in the title.) Instead, they get blackout drunk and proceed to trash their hotel room, cavort with ping-pong popping strippers and meet a drug-dealing monkey. One of them even gets Mike Tyson’s famous tattoo inked on his face. Clearly these guys are more keg stand than martini.
