This funereal song comes from Bob Dylan’s 1988 album, Down in the Groove, one of his very worst. An overwrought metaphor for a relationship between two people who each belong to another, Dylan’s delivery is strained, forgettable and, worst of all, unconvincing. An instantly forgettable track.
