Girls star Adam Driver is reportedly in the final stages of negotiations to play the villain in the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Citing anonymous “Star Wars sources,” the Reporter says Driver, who plays Hannah’s eccentric, on-again-off-again boyfriend in Lena Dunham’s HBO series Girls, is likely to play the undisclosed role, which the Reporter says Michael Fassbender and Joel Kinnaman may have both been under consideration for as well. The Reporter says casting on the notoriously secretive project is nearly complete.
