Because the MTA can't hold us

What time is it? Showtime!

A group of New Yorkers just had pretty much the coolest commute ever. Why? Hip-hop artists Macklemore and Ryan Lewis hopped on their bus and performed “Can’t Hold Us,” a hit off their monstrously successful debut studio album The Heist.

The passengers, bemused at first, were quickly won over once they realized who was performing.

The surprise rendition was a promotional stunt for The Grammys, where the duo will perform Jan. 26. They’re also in the running for seven awards, including album of the year and song of the year.

Give me a break all of that was staged.  Have to wonder how many takes that took.  He walked on and there were 6 empty seats in front.  He left and the bus was full...mmmhh

Good PR move, and fun for the commuters .
