The L.A. County Sheriff’s Office searched Justin Bieber’s house Tuesday for evidence linking him to an egg-throwing incident last Thursday, but did not uncover enough to arrest the teenage pop star, for now.

Bieber has “not been arrested or exonerated,” a spokesperson from the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department said, according to NBC Los Angeles. But he added that cocaine had been found in plain view during the raid.

The cops were executing a felony search warrant, which means the Biebs could have faced serious consequences if they found evidence he egged his neighbor’s house, the New York Daily News reports. The egging allegedly caused up to $20,000 worth of damage to the home.

Eggs. Really. Explain exactly how EGGS can cause $20,000.00 in damages. Eggs, really. May I request some actual newsworthy reporting to read, please.

It is scary to think any judge would sign a warrant on probable cause that there are in his house - everyone on the block could have their houses searched if that were the standard.

Really? 20K damage from egging? Wonder what caliber eggs Bieber used? Probably 105 mm armor piercing.

This is ridiculous.  I was once jumped and assaulted in the parking lot of a strip mall.  I suffered broken ribs.  There were many witnesses and the police were called.  Every time I called the supposed investigating detective he was either on vacation, out on a call, busy or some other thing.  He never contacted me, and the police simply refused to investigate the crime.  On another occasion some years later, my home was burglarized and thousands of dollars worth of things were stolen including valuable and irreplaceable family heirlooms. Once again, the cops refused to investigate the crime, despite physical evidence left at the scene by the burglars.  And the cops waste their time investigating this ? !  COPS S....... !

@TAHKICT Nah, probably 120mm HEAT, APFSDS would just pass through the house (and like 12 other houses) and leave a neat little hole. :)

@eagle11772 happens every day eagle.  Unless you hand them a solid lead on a golden platter you can expect no action at all.  It's not like TV.

@armynod  In the assault, there were about a dozen witnesses, and it was they who called the police. The cops just refused to investigate it.  A few years later, at the same exact place, a similar assault took place, and the victim happened to be a federal agent.  He died as a result of his injuries.  The killer was tried convicted and sentenced to 25 to life.  Perhaps if they had investigated my assault, the federal agent would still be alive.  In the burglary of my home, the burglars left one of their I.D.'s which I turned over to the police. Once again, no investigation was made, despite the police having the ID of one of teh suspects.  Long Island police S...... !!!

@eagle11772 I don't doubt the veracity of your experience at all.  I was just commenting from my own experience with a burglary.  Cops aren't motivated to solve a crime unless it's high profile.

@TAHKICT NOPE !  You just haven't had any experience with the Nassau County cops or the Suffolk County cops on Long Island, like I have.
