Sadness and nostalgia following the Jan. 3 death of singer Phil Everly — who along with his brother, Don, performed as the Everly Brothers — was reflected in music sales this week. The Everly Brothers’ music sales skyrocketed 455 percent as fans rushed to snap up their albums and songs.

The duo sold 18,000 songs and 5000 albums this week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The best-selling album was The Very Best of the Everly Brothers, which sold 2000 copies alone. Fans were also particularly fond of “All I Have To Do Is Dream,” which was downloaded 4000 times.
