The Duck Dynasty star who caused an uproar this week with fiercely anti-gay remarks also called homosexuals “insolent, arrogant God-haters” in 2010.

A video of reality TV star Phil Robertson’s sermon against gay people has been online since 2010, but it gained new attention Friday following his indefinite suspension from the A&E show. In the video, Robertson says that homosexuals “bow down to birds, animals and reptiles, and each other.”

“Women with women, men with men, they committed indecent acts with one another,” Robertson said. “They are heartless, they are faithless, they are senseless, they are ruthless. They invent ways of doing evil.”

On Wednesday, A&E suspended Roberston from the show indefinitely after he made anti-gay remarks in an interview with GQ. The decision prompted a backlash from conservatives, but was applauded by gay rights supporters.
