A science-fiction movie in which a human learns that the Earth is just a small part of a large, inhabited universe? That’s pretty much par for the course.
But a science-fiction movie in which she learns that the Earth is a very small part of a very large industry — that sounds more like something from the people who brought you The Matrix.
Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis star in Jupiter Ascending, the next Wachowski film. Kunis plays Jupiter (a person, not the planet!), a woman destined to impact the history of the universe, and Tatum plays an intergalactic hunter who shows up to fill her in on her fate. The movie is due in theaters on July 25, 2014.
