Director Quentin Tarantino at the 85th Annual Academy Awards

Quentin Tarantino liked filming Django Unchained so much, that he’ll be returning to the genre for his next film. On the Tonight Show on Tuesday, the famed director revealed that his next film will be a Western, but not a sequel to Django, Variety reports.

“I haven’t told anyone this publicly, but I will say the genre: It’s a western,” Tarantino told host Jay Leno. “I had so much fun doing Django, and I love westerns so much that after I taught myself how to make one, it’s like ‘OK! Let me make another one now that I know what I’m doing.'”

Tarantino won the Best Screenplay Academy Award for Django Unchained.

@aztecian it's a bloody movie, I don't support the ridiculous gun culture in the USA but 7/10 Canadians own a gun, and we seem to do all right.

@Rhettimus @aztecian Excuse me! Where did you get this number about Canadian gun ownership?  According to Canadian government statistics, only 30 out of 100 Canadians own a gun, which is 30%, not 7 out of 10. Get your facts straight please.
