More changes are afoot for the sexy adaptation

More shake-ups are happening with the 50 Shades of Grey film adaptation, as action writer Mark Bomback has been picked to polish the script, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Producers had previously hired Patrick Marber, of Closer fame, to work over the script. Bomback last worked on the script for Wolverine and before that he had a hand in the Total Recall remake, Unstoppable, Race to Witch Mountain, and Live Free or Die Hard. So 50 Shades, with its bondage sex scenes and intense romance, will clearly be something of a departure.

The move comes just weeks after the film’s slated male lead, Charlie Hunnam, dropped out of the project. It was announced last week that the part of Christian Grey would now be played by Northern Irish actor Jamie Dornan. Actress Dakota Johnson is still set to star as Anastasia Steele.
