After months of negotiations, the Entourage movie is set for the big screen.
The HBO series ended in 2012 and a film has been in the works since January. Deadline reports that deals have at last been reached with actors Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara and Kevin Connolly. Jeremy Piven, who plays sharp-tongued agent Ari Gold, had already signed on in August, though his deal included a portion of the film’s profits. Signing the others was subsequently delayed, as the other actors reportedly wanted similar deals (Grenier cryptically wrote on his Instagram just weeks ago that he would sign “any deal that gives ALL the boys an opportunity to share in the upside of success EQUALLY”).
But all disputes have been settled and Deadline reports that while precise figures aren’t clear, “all four actors are now getting some of the $30 million movie’s backend.” So Vinnie Chase and the gang are ready to make the leap from the silver screen to the big screen.
