Bob Barker to Return to ‘The Price is Right’ for 90th Birthday

The former host will help place pets for adoption

Seasoned host Bob Barker will celebrate his 90th birthday by returning to his former role as host of television’s longest running game show, The Price is Right.

The daytime show will pay tribute to the longtime animal rights activist by hosting pet adoptions from Dec. 9 through Dec. 13, with a special appearance by Barker on his birthday, Dec. 12, TV Guide reports.

Barker, who hosted the show for 35 years before Drew Carey succeeded him in 2007, has only appeared on the show once in 2009 when his memoir, “Precious Memories,” was published.

The Emmy award-winning former game show host will also take part in a showcase geared towards highlighting the benefits of reaching age 90.
