There’s no particularly wintery weather in the first trailer for the upcoming Captain America sequel, but there sure are a lot of soldiers — including Avengers stalwarts Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and, of course, Chris Evans as Captain America. Robert Redford also makes his Marvel movie debut as Alexander Pierce. (The Winter Soldier is the villain.)
The movie picks up after The Avengers, with our hero coming to terms with life after the events of that movie and where he fits into todays world…and, naturally, the fact that he needs to save Washington, D.C.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is due in theaters Apr. 4, 2014.
